A Legacy of Compassion and Care
Let me tell you about Dianna Gail Shafer, a remarkable woman who touched many lives. Dianna, 73, of Junction City, KY, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Harrodsburg Health & Rehab. Born on April 3, 1951, in Boyle County, KY, to the late Peggy Mobley, Dianna leaves behind a legacy of creativity and kindness. She had a passion for painting and also enjoyed crocheting, drawing, and playing cards—activities that brought joy not only to herself but to those around her.
At Spurlin Funeral Home of Lancaster, Danville, Kentucky, we’ve been serving families like Dianna’s since 1996. With over 3,000 likes on social media and countless families we’ve helped, we’re proud to be a trusted name in the community. But numbers don’t tell the whole story—it’s the personal connections and the way we treat each family that truly define us.

Services were held at 2 PM on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Spurlin Funeral Home of Lancaster, with visitation starting at 11 AM that same day.
Every family has different needs, and we’re committed to meeting them.
