Welcoming You to Lien Funeral Home
Welcome to Lien Funeral Home, where we've been dedicated to serving families across Edmunds, Walworth, Potter, and McPherson counties since 1926. Our mission has always been to provide comfort, guidance, and support during some of life’s most challenging moments. Here, you'll find recent obituaries, service information, and funeral arrangements—all handled with the utmost care and respect.
Our History and Commitment
Since taking over management in January 1992, I've worked tirelessly to ensure that every family receives the attention and support they need. My wife Gale and I became sole owners of the funeral home on July 20, 2006, continuing the legacy of trust and compassion. On January 1, 2007, we expanded our reach by purchasing the Straub Funeral Home in Eureka, further solidifying our commitment to serving communities near and far.

Below, you'll find a collection of recent obituaries, each telling the story of individuals who touched the lives of so many. Services and Support
At Lien Funeral Home, we offer more than just traditional services. We encourage you to send flowers, share condolences, or visit our website for additional details about upcoming events. Our team is here to guide you every step of the way, ensuring that your loved one’s memory is honored with dignity and grace.
Memorials and Donations
Many families choose to establish memorials in lieu of flowers. For example, the Opp family requests that donations be directed to the Eureka Reformed Church Ladies Aid, Box 456, Eureka, SD 57437. These contributions not only celebrate the life of the departed but also give back to the community they cherished.
