Visitation Details and More
Visitation times vary depending on the service, but we'll always provide you with the details you need. For example, a visitation might be held at the funeral home on Monday, June 19, from 5 p.m., and at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. In some cases, visitation may begin as early as 1:00 p.m. on a Tuesday and continue until the hour of the service. Each family has unique needs, and we're here to accommodate them all.
Let me share a story with you. Kevin LeRoy Walker, a beloved husband and father, passed away at the age of 55. He leaves behind his wife, Melanie Walker, daughters Haley and Katilen Walker, brothers John and Douglas Walker and Shane Vinyard, and several nieces and nephews. The visitation for Kevin was held at the funeral home on Saturday, July 15, from 5 p.m., and at the church on Sunday from 2 p.m. until the hour of service. It's moments like these that remind us how important it is to come together and support one another.
Honoring Loved Ones in Unique Ways
While flowers are a thoughtful gesture, some families prefer alternative ways to honor their loved ones. For instance, in lieu of flowers, the family of Stanley Rayfield Hicks, who passed away at the age of 72, requested donations to the American Cancer Society P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741. Interment for Stanley took place at the Lafayette Cemetery, a peaceful final resting place for many cherished members of our community.
Plant a Memorial Tree
One of the most meaningful ways to honor a loved one is by planting a memorial tree. Trees symbolize life, growth, and renewal, making them a perfect tribute to someone who touched your life in a profound way. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Betty, Marilyn, Roger, Charlotte, or any other loved one, simply visit our tree store. It's a gift that keeps on giving, not only to you but to future generations as well.
